Jennifer’s Phoenix Tour Notes:
What’s not to love about Phoenix? The weather is always great and the travel time to Phoenix Raceway is a mere 30 minutes via luxury motor coach bus transfer. We like to stay near the Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX), so guests can fly in, grab a cab or Uber, and get to the hotel in a few minutes.
I love Phoenix for more than just the perfect weather, but also because it is so easy to navigate. We park right next to the track near turn 4, our seats are on the front stretch close to the start-finish line and all of the fun sponsor and merchandise displays are in turns 3 and 4.
Guests who add the Infield Experience pass can exit our bus and walk straight across the parking lot to gate 2, which is near the infield tunnel entrance. All of this makes for a stress-free race track experience with easy walking distances. And who doesn’t like to watch a race with an amazing view of the Estrella mountains?!
This track is easy to get out of as well. Even with race traffic, we get back to the hotel within an hour of departing the track. That leaves plenty of time to check out extraordinary restaurants near the hotel like the Rustlers Roost. If staying in is more your style, the hotel offers a full service restaurant and bar area to relax as well as room service.
This is an excellent place for an end of the year vacation with so much to do and see in the Phoenix/Scottsdale area. The NASCAR season is down to the wire and the temperature averages in the mid 70’s in November. Make this one stop on your list of race tracks to enjoy!
More Phoenix Info:
Phoenix Raceway is a tri-oval track that is home to two annual NASCAR race weekends. The track hosts an early season event in March, as well as the last stop of the NASCAR season, the Championship.
Phoenix Raceway, in the foothills of the Estrella Mountains, hosts two NASCAR race weekends each year. This one-mile track was intended to be a leading open wheel race track, but Phoenix Raceway now considers its two NASCAR race weekends to be its main events.
Each fall, the NASCAR Cup Series and NASCAR Xfinity Series draw sell-out crowds to watch NASCAR racing in the Valley of the Sun!
Reviews
This team does a fantastic job of organizing an awesome NASCAR race package. We travel from Australia every year to do at least one race and always use RaceAway. They ensure everything is done perfectly before we ever arrive. Rick is a great host and does a super job explaining how everything works on race day. Highly recommended!
