We had perfect weather conditions for two nights of NASCAR racing at Richmond International Raceway. The Saturday night Sprint Cup race finished with only a handful of cautions and no major incidents. After two days of hospitality, pit road visits, and racing excitement at Richmond, we're ready for the 2010 Chase to be underway!
RaceAway guests got to see thrilling NASCAR racing in Thunder Valley this weekend! Rain tried to throw a wrench in the Saturday’s events but our guests weathered the storm just fine in our Hospitality chalet! We got to see Kyle Busch take the win Saturday night and go down in the record books for sweeping all three Racing Series events at Bristol Motor Speedway! This weekend’s action proved why Bristol is the hottest ticket in the sport!
Infineon Raceway treated NASCAR fans to a great show this year! The NASCAR Toyota Save Mart 350 ended with a mistake by Marcos Ambrose allowing Jimmie Johnson to take the late lead and win the race. The California weather was beautiful, and RaceAway guests enjoyed the day at the track!
Charlotte Motor Speedway was definitely the place to be this weekend for Memorial Day fun, especially if you were a Busch fan! Kyle Busch won Saturday’s Nationwide race and Kurt Busch took Sunday’s Coca-Cola 600 Sprint Cup checkered flag! RaceAway guests had a great time taking in all the action at the track! The weather held out, the Garage Tours were incredible, the Hospitality chalet was a great place to take a break and the seats were fantastic but best of all were the guests! Thanks for celebrating Memorial Day weekend with us!
RaceAway guests had a lot of fun in Darlington, South Carolina! It was hot during the day, but when the sun set on the track, the weather was beautiful. We watched Denny Hamlin sweep both the Friday night Nationwide Series race and the Saturday night Showtime Southern 500 Sprint Cup Series race. The Lady in Black was unforgiving to NASCAR drivers as many earned their Darlington Stripe. We look forward to 2011 in Darlington!
We couldn’t have asked for a better race weekend in Richmond this weekend. The weather was perfect, pit road was busy, the hospitality building was eventful with drivers doing appearances and the race was exciting! Saturday night’s Crown Royal 400 finish had everyone on their feet as Kyle Busch flew past Jeff Gordon for the win. Brad Keselowski dominated Friday nights Nationwide Bubba Burger 250. RaceAway had a great time at Richmond International Raceway with old and new friends. We can’t wait to do it again in September.
RaceAway guests got to see two nights of exciting NASCAR racing under the lights at Phoenix International Raceway. Ryan Newman won Saturday night’s Subway Fresh Fit 600 on a green white checker restart, his first win in the 39 car and Friday night Kyle Busch came from behind to take the Bashas’ Supermarkets 200 win. We had perfect weather and even better race fans this weekend, can’t wait until November!
RaceAway guests witnessed two first-time winners at Bristol Motor Speedway! On Saturday, Justin Allgaier held off Brad Keselowski to get his first NNS win. It was an exciting finish for a young rookie. On Sunday, the rain held off and we saw an exciting race! In the end, Jimmie Johnson ended up the winner, after getting a great restart and beating Kurt Busch, who had led 278 laps. It was JJ's 50th career win. Thanks to a great group of RaceAway guests for making this weekend so much fun for us
RaceAway guests braved the chilly Daytona temperatures to kick off the 2010 NASCAR season but the entertainment on the track Sunday was well worth it! Repairs to the track surface caused long delays in the action but Jamie McMurray held on to win the Daytona 500 Sprint Cup race after three green white checkered flag attempts. Tony Stewart won Saturday’s Nationwide Drive4COPD 300 for the third consecutive time. We are energized about what is ahead of us this year in NASCAR racing, its going to a wild ride, so be sure to join us for the fun!
