"Everyone who knows me is aware that Talladega is my favorite track. It’s not only fast, but the atmosphere is unlike any other speedway I have been to. The restrictor plates keep the cars under control, but it’s nothing to see three- or four- and even five-wide racing! Those close quarters invariably end with 'The Big One,' which is what Talladega is infamously known for. The Big One is known to swallow up 20 or more cars in one incident. The anticipation of that crash keeps us on the edges of our seats.
The fall weekend also hosts the Camping World Truck series race. If you have never seen the trucks run before, you aren’t going to want to miss it here! It is a short 250-mile race, but the action will have you hooked!
Our seats are located in the Birmingham Tower which are near the start/finish line and offer a great view of the entire track. The seats are individual chair-type seats so you won’t have to worry about sharing yours, unless you want to!
This is a complete package, so I can’t leave out our private Hospitality Chalet located in front of the track in the Corporate Hospitality Village. Guests dine on a catered breakfast prior to the Sprint Cup race. It's also a nice place to grab a beverage and take a break. From Hospitality Village, we'll escort you to Pit Road. Every guest gets the chance to hang out on Pit Road while the crews are setting up for the day’s events. You'll want to be in your seats before driver introductions start because the flyovers are fantastic at Talladega!
Another bonus about our Talladega NASCAR package is that we stay in Birmingham, Alabama, which is just 45 minutes from the track. Guests can sit back and enjoy the short ride on our luxury charter motorcoach. The Birmingham International Airport (BHM) is easily accessible for our air travelers and the hotel conveniently offers an airport shuttle. The Summit shopping area is located near our full-service hotel and has many restaurants in case you want to venture out for food.
If you're making plans to join us at Talladega Superspeedway in October 2012, you might want to bring a jacket as high temperatures are in the mid 70’s."
