The NASCAR Sprint Cup series welcomes the newest race track to the schedule for some exciting racing. Kentucky Speedway hosts the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series for an exciting weekend of racing in bluegrass country! Check out photos from Kentucky!

Package Includes:

Two nights hotel accommodations (Friday and Saturday) at the Embassy Suites Louisville

  • Two-room suites with plenty of space and privacy

Sat, 06/30/12 Fan Zone Pass - Get access to the infield area surrounding Victory Lane and Pit Road until one hour prior to the start of the Sprint Cup race. Must be 16 years of age to access pit road. $110.00
Sat, 06/30/12 Pre-Race Pass - Pass gives you all the access of the Fan Zone Pass, but it also allows you to stand in front of the pre-race concert stage on the start/finish line during the concert. Must be 16 years of age to access pit road. $160.00

Kentucky Speedway is a 1.5-mile speedway located in north-central Kentucky, near the community of Sparta, Kentucky; which is between Louisville, Kentucky and Cincinnati, Ohio. The track announced on August 10, 2010 that a Sprint Cup Race will be coming to the track in 2011, the newest track to be added to the Sprint Cup series in more than a decade.

In the beginning, it was designed to host a NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race but was ensnarled in a legal battle which prevented just that until recently.  Kentucky Speedway has long been used as a testing track for NASCAR, and some of the sport’s biggest stars have had success at the track in the past. The speedway has previously hosted NASCAR Nationwide Series and Camping World Truck Series races, but also has held IZOD IndyCar Series and Firestone Indy Lights races.
