Justin's Kansas Tour Notes:
"Kansas Speedway has two Sprint Cup race dates in 2012 and we'll be there for both of them! This is one of the newest facilities on the NASCAR Sprint Cup circuit. The facility is very clean and easy to navigate. Kansas Speedway also did a great job in terms of traffic flow. Our experience on our October tour the past couple of years has been driving right in and out of the track. Traffic here is great!
We use the Embassy Suites at the Kansas City International Airport (KCI), which offers a free airport shuttle for guests who might be flying in. The hotel also has cooked-to-order breakfasts and all rooms are two-room suites. We've used this hotel for several years, and our guests always appreciate the amenities.
The weather is usually great for the races in Kansas. The average high temperature for April is 67, and the low is 49. You'll want a jacket in the evening.
My wife, Susan, and I usually host the race tours at Kansas Speedway as it's a short drive for us from Des Moines. Kansas Speedway is our home track!"
